For register tape, I’d be picky with paper quality. I got these 230 ft thermal rolls from https://www.mcdonaldpaper.com/safepro-79t-3-125-inch-thermal-register-tape-230-ft-50-cs and they worked well with our receipt printer, no weird fading or paper dust. Tbh, cheap tape can mess up the printer more than people think. Check your printer manual for the exact inch size before buying, and make sure the rolls aren’t too tight on the core. I also write the order date on the box so older rolls get used first.
